Hi I’m Danielle, and welcome to DMR Hair Residence. I cannot wait to give you the hair you have always dreamed of! To make sure your appointment goes smoothly please make yourself familiar with this Salon Policy. By booking an appointment you are agreeing to all the terms of this Policy. Please don’t hesitate to make contact with any questions regarding this.
Appointments
DMR Hair Residence operates as an appointment only salon and is unable to do "walk-ins". To book your appointment, the preferred method of contact is by texting the salon on 0408895011.
Thinking of a big change, or not sure what to ask for when booking your appointment? Why not book in for a complimentary consultation (15 minutes). At this appointment I can see your hair in person and give you a quote to ensure your appointment is booked for the correct service/s and duration.
When booking an appointment please include your full name, mobile number, email, what service you are wanting and what your preferred days/times are. During the busy times of year there is a possibility of a longer waiting period. To avoid missing out please book your appointments as soon as you know your dates/ times. To guarantee your preferred time and day rebooking your appointment is highly recommended.
All appointments at DMR Hair Residence are finished with a full service of either a blow dry or haircut style. No client is able to leave with wet hair.
New Clients
When a new client appointment comes available, details will be posted on the salon’s Instagram page @dmr__hairresidence.
Alternatively fill in the form at the bottom of this page to be added to the new client waitlist.
Before making an appointment, all new clients need to book in for a complimentary consultation (15 minutes). At this appointment, we will discuss your hair goals, and a quote will be given. If both parties are happy to go ahead, we request a $100 deposit be paid prior to your first appointment. 48 hours notice is required to cancel or change your appointment, without forfeiting your deposit.
Payment
Current payment options are EFTPOS, Afterpay, Direct debit and cash.
Afterpay and EFTPOS incur a service fee equivalent to merchant transaction fees. Amex and Diners Club are not accepted.
Payment is required at the end of your appointment, unless discussed prior.
Change of service at appointment will always be quoted first. Service will commence on agreement of accepting the quote.
Cancellations
DMR Hair Residence requires 24 hours notice for any cancellation/rescheduling of any salon appointments. Bookings are scheduled carefully to ensure enough time and space is allowed for your appointment to be carried out as efficiently as possible.
A text reminder will be sent to confirm your appointment 72 hours prior and an email sent a week before. Cancelling or rescheduling your appointment with more than 24 hours notice is totally fine. However, if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment within 24 hours of your booking, you will be required to pay 50% of the cancelled booking before being able to make another booking. By making an appointment at DMR Hair Residence you are agreeing to these terms.
Preparation
It is very important that you please arrive with clean, dry hair. This is not just for hygiene reasons. We use Goldwell products in the salon which is a low to no ammonia professional colour system. It does not have the strength to cut through oil, dirt, and products. Washing your hair the night before is completely fine.
Disregarding this requirement could result in a less than optimal colour result, or if your hair needs to be washed first, limiting the time you have to achieve your colour and resulting in a reduced service.
Arrival
If you are running late to your appointment, please be aware that I may need to cancel or shorten your appointment. However you will still be charged for the full service you were booked in for.
Hair Guarantee
I pride myself on always giving the best at your appointment and giving you the hair of your dreams. If on the off chance you are not 100% happy with your hair, or the service you receive please contact the salon ASAP. Sometimes it can be a tiny fix to make it perfect. So please don’t feel bad sending a message, I love any feedback and being updated on how it is going. If its the case of needing to rebook your appointment, then all services will be complementary. If you are unhappy but fail to make contact within 2 weeks of your initial appointment, no complementary redo of services will be offered.
Parking
There is parking available at the front of the salon and across the road on Shakespeare St. This however is restricted to 1 hour only parking, and is oftentimes monitored by Council. There is free parking around the corner on Brisbane Street in the centre parking area. Please allow enough time for finding a park, as with the new surrounding businesses demand for parks has increased.
Kid Free Zone
At DMR Hair Residence I want to give you the best experience of your life each time. Children can make it hard to concentrate and for yourself to relax. The salon itself has also not been designed and decorated with children in mind, so please leave your little ones at home. If an issue with this arises, please contact the salon to discuss options.
Home Hair Care
Goldwell is a high-quality professional colour system. It is highly recommended to use salon quality home hair care for optimal results. DMR Hair Residence cannot guarantee longevity of your colour or healthy results unless using recommended home hair care purchased from the salon. DMR Hair Residence is a 100% no judgement zone. I will always recommend the best home hair care for your hair, however the purchase is completely up to you, no pressure. My job is to educate and then you can choose what you want to do with the information. Home hair care is also available to purchase here through DMR Hair Residence online shop.

Gift Vouchers
Gift Vouchers are available for purchase. This can be for a total amount or for a specific service. Please note gift vouchers can only be purchased for a current client of DMR Hair Residence.

DMR Hair Residence is very lucky to share our beautiful space with Lush Beauty Bar. Lush offer a wide range of services, make-up for any events, cosmetic tattoo brows, teeth whitening and eyelash extensions.
Please note that even though Lush and DMR share the same space we are completely separate businesses. All bookings for Lush Beauty Bar need to be directly booked with Lush.
